RNWMP Detachment (WDM1832)
Two Royal North West Mounted Police officers lived and worked in this building. The jail cell was purchased by the town of Watson, Saskatchewan in 1914.
Harness Shop (WDM1831)
The harness shop was one of the busiest shops in town at a time when animals provided most of the power.
Many of the contents and furnishings in this display are from the early days of Coad’s Drug Store in Saskatoon.
Daily Phoenix (WDM1829)
The Saskatoon StarPhoenix, evolved from the 1929 merger of the Saskatoon Phoenix and the Saskatoon Daily Star.
Church Interior (WDM1828)
St. Peter’s Anglican church from Young, Saskatchewan moved to Boomtown Street in 1972 and is the only original building on the street.
Blacksmith Shop (WDM1827)
The blacksmith sharpened plowshares, replaced horseshoes, repaired wheels and shaped iron into tools and replacement parts.

The false columns on the front of this bank, intended to present a solid and trustworthy image, are typical of bank architecture from this period.

Most of the fixtures came from the Bentley store which William Bentley operated in Delisle, Saskatchewan from 1909 until his death in 1963.
